| Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) wish to advise members that the Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT) has temporarily closed its gates due to a significant pro Palestine protest currently taking place at Webb Dock. Police are on site managing the situation; however, at this stage, the timing for reopening remains uncertain.
FTA/APSA encourage members to liaise with the shipping lines and terminal directly regarding any potential storage or detention issues arising from the protests. |
