Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) have been as follows from Fremantle Ports of the mentioned exercise.
On Wednesday 15 October, Fremantle Ports — together with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services — will conduct a live training exercise at Patrick Terminal (Berth CT3). As part of the Global Ports Safety initiative, the exercise will simulate a fire emergency, involving the deployment of fire engines and specialised equipment.
Our MV Response vessel will be involved in the drill, assisting with the exercise as part of the coordinated response.
Please note, there will be no impact to port operations.
