Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) advise members that dnata has notified of upcoming potential messaging delays due to an Australian Border Force (ABF) system upgrade. On Saturday, 25 October 2025, the Department's service provider will be implementing essential system upgrades. During this time, industry clients may experience short outages or delays in messaging between 14:00 (AEDT) and 22:00 (AEDT). Any EDI messages sent during these outages will queue automatically and be processed once connectivity is restored. The Australian Border Force apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates industry's understanding during this scheduled maintenance period.
