Purpose
This Industry Advice Notice (IAN) is to advise plant industry and registered establishments of updates to the registered establishment performance standards.
Summary of changes and key points
- The Exports reference: Performance standards for plant export registered establishments has been updated on the Plant Export Operational Manual.
- Updates include:
- Alignment with current legislation, the Export Control Act 2020 and the Export Control (Plants and Plant Products) Rules 2021.
- Restructured to support the operational workflow for auditors.
- Removal of content duplication.
- Document formatting updated to align with new instructional material templates.
Background
We conduct regular review of export policy and relevant instructional materials to ensure they remain accurate and fit for purpose.
The performance standards for registered establishments have been updated so that it is clear, easy to follow and appropriate for our stakeholders.
