The Anti-Dumping Commission has confirmed the reappointment of Freight and Trade Alliance (FTA) as a member of the new International Trade Remedies Forum (ITRF).
On behalf of the Minister for Industry and Innovation and Minister for Science, the Anti-Dumping Commission has confirmed the reappointment of the FTA as a member of the new ITRF in accordance with Part XVC of the Customs Act 1901.
The membership term is set for three years, commencing on 1 January 2026 and concluding on 31 December 2028.
Strengthening Australia's Trade Remedies
The ITRF serves as the primary advisory body for the major reform program to strengthen Australia's trade remedies system. The Commissioner and Presiding Member of the ITRF, David Latina, has noted the valued contribution of FTA as a member of the current forum and the important role played in advising on the anti-dumping system.
The Minister holds the ITRF in high regard, and the insights provided by FTA remain invaluable in meeting the objectives outlined in the Statement of Expectations.
Forum Representation
Russell Wiese (Director, Customs and Global Trade Law), will continue to serve as the FTA representative on the forum. Legal and technical expertise provided by CGT Law ensures that the interests of members are effectively represented throughout the ITRF term
