Infrastructure Levy / Terminal Access Charge Increases: Sydney: - Imports: up from $213.57 to $233.36 (+9.27%)
- Exports: up from $195.39 to $209.64 (+7.29%)
Brisbane: - Imports: up from $213.78 to $232.79 (+8.89%)
- Exports: up from $196.58 to $210.48 (+7.07%)
Ancillary Fee Increases: Across both terminals, increases in ancillary charges (truck appointments, sideloader fees, storage, surcharges, etc.) range up to +23.53% Rationale for Increases: Hutchison Ports cited a partial recovery of significant operational cost pressures over the past 10 months, including substantial increases in land taxes and council rates, as well as a spike in site maintenance costs. This tariff review is seeking only partial recovery of those increases. Despite these pressures, Hutchison Ports reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Australian exporters, with relief continuing to be reflected through lower infrastructure charges on export containers.
