Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (APSA) have received a notice to industry from Qantas Freight regarding delays affecting import shipments at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport:We are currently experiencing higher than usual freight volumes through our Sydney import facility, which may result in some delays to inbound shipments.
Our teams are working hard to manage the increased demand and restore normal processing times as quickly as possible. During this period, Express and other critical freight is being prioritised.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we work to resolve the issue.
