Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned maintenance period.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System during this planned maintenance period.
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned maintenance period.
All clients who will be required to make an online payment during this planned maintenance period.
Information
Due to scheduled system maintenance, there will be a scheduled service disruption (service degradation) to the below listed systems between 21:00 Monday 16 March to 03:00 Tuesday 17 March 2026 (AEDT).
Users may experience intermittent slowness and/or an inability to load pages/execute functions during the service disruption window:
- Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
- Cargo Online Lodgement System Business-To-Government (COLSB2G)
- Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS)
- Maritime and Aircraft Reporting System (MARS)
- Online Payment Service (OPS)
Action
Where possible, users of the above-listed systems are advised to await the completion of this planned maintenance period before attempting to access these services.
