Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS) Issues

Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has been advised by Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) of an unplanned outage affecting inbound messages to DAFF systems from the Department of Home Affairs' (DoHA) Integrated Cargo System (ICS).

As a result, DAFF is not currently receiving messages related to the declaration types listed below, and messages are being queued until services are restored.

• Full Import Declaration (FID)
• Long Form Self Assessed Clearance (LFSAC)
• Short Form Self Assessed Clearance (SFSAC)
• Cargo Report Self Assessed Clearance (CRSAC)
• Cargo Report Personal Effects (PE)
• Cargo Reports GAS
• Cargo Reports BMSB

Due to the outage, the Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS) is also impacted, with new entries not being created which will prevent customs brokers and importers from lodging documents in COLS for affected entries.
