Who does this notice affect?
All clients submitting the below import declarations:
- Full Import Declaration (FID)
- Long Form Self Assessed Clearance (LFSAC)
- Short Form Self Assessed Clearance (SFSAC)
- Cargo Report Self Assessed Clearance (CRSAC)
- Cargo Report Personal Effects (PE)
- Cargo Reports GAS
- Cargo Reports BMSB
All importers and customs brokers using an entry number who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment.

Restored time: As of: 2:45pm Wednesday 18 March 2026 (AEDT).
The outage of inbound messages to DAFF systems from the Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) Integrated Cargo System (ICS) has been resolved.
Inbound messages to departmental systems from DoHA's ICS are now being transmitted as normal.
Once the backlog of messages has been transmitted, brokers with new entries will be able to lodge documents via the Cargo Online Lodgement System.
Action
No action required.
The backlog of messages queued as a result of the outage are currently being processed.
The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
