Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned maintenance period.
All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to use the Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS) during this planned maintenance period.

Update: There has been a change to the outage window start and end times. Revised details below:
Due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance, there will be a scheduled outage to the following systems from 23:00 Wednesday 06 May to 00:01 Thursday 07 May 2026 (AEST):
- Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS)
- PEBS
Action
Users of the above-listed systems are advised to await the completion of this planned maintenance period before attempting to access these services.
