Who does this notice affect?

Some importers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned maintenance period (e.g. clients required to use the Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS).

Details:

The Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS) is currently experiencing an unplanned service disruption. As a result, Importers attempting to submit lodgements in COLS using their Importer ID may experience an error message.

Brokers are not impacted by this disruption and can continue to their Broker ID as normal.

Action

Affected importers are advised to use their Branch ID: _IMP_C (instead of their Importer ID) when submitting lodgements in COLS.

This issue is currently under investigation by the department, and we will advise once services have been restored. The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
