Who does this notice affect?

All importers of plants, cats and/or dogs who will be required to make payments within the Post Entry Biosecurity System (PEBS).

Information

As of: approx. 00:00 Friday 24 July 2026 (AEST), PEBS is currently experiencing an unplanned service disruption. As a result, clients may encounter errors when attempting to make payments within PEBS.

Action

Clients that experience issues when attempting to make a payment via PEBS are advised to re-attempt once the issue has been confirmed as resolved.

This issue is being investigated as a high priority, and the department will advise once resolved.
