Who does this notice affect?

All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment.

The Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS) is currently experiencing an unplanned service disruption. As a result, some clients submitting Carnet lodgements may experience errors when submitting lodgements into COLS.

This error is occurring around the Destination Port field. We ask clients to type a valid destination port or leave the field blank until we can resolve the issue.

Clients can use the additional comments field within their submission to advise on details for the Destination Port if required.

Action

This issue is being investigated as a priority, and the department will advise once resolved. The department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
