ACFS Port Logistics Leadership Update

Dear Customers and Partners,
 
The Tzaneros family has been clear prior to and throughout this process that we are fully committed to doing everything we can to secure the future of the business for our employess, customers and partners.
 
To that end, effective immediately, I am stepping aside as Managing Director and CEO. My father, Terry Tzaneros will be taking over these roles for at least the duration of the administration process.
 
On Friday, I made comments on a private WhatsApp group about a serious and sensitive situation that's currently in the news. I deeply regret what I said, and for showing a complete lack of sensitivity to that situation.
 
There is no excuse. I hope that by stepping aside, I am removing this behaviour from consideration of ACFS's day-to-day operations.
 
Everyone who relies on ACFS Port Logistics Australia, including our customers, partners and most importantly our 1,600 employees, deserve stability and totally focused leadership. Terry is the best person to provide that for you all at this time, as the administration process continues.
 
Terry should need no introduction. He is a legend in the Australian shipping sector, who helped build container logistics in this country into what it is today.
 
Terry and I started this business together, and he is across all the details on business operations across ACFS. He knows this company and the industry inside and out. He has our complete confidence, and I hope he can rely on yours as well.
 
Terry will continue to provide regular updates on the business. The rest of our leadership team remains in place and you can continue to deal with your normal ACFS contacts and operational teams.
