Who does this notice affect?

Clients that receive emails from the Agriculture Import Management System (AIMS) for Full Import Declarations, Long Form SAC's and Cargo Personal effect importations, including:

• Import Brokers
• Food Imports
• Importers
• Approved Arrangements

Information

Between 07:00 and 09:35 Thursday 03 September 2026 (AEST) there was an unplanned service disruption to AIMS.

As a result, email releases, directions, service records, Food Control Certificates, Food inspection advices, and failed food notices were failing to send.

This issue has now been resolved, and emails are now being transmitted as normal.

Action

No action required.

Clients may encounter a delay in response from the department while the queued emails transmit.

The Department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
