Purpose This Market Access Advice (MAA) notifies stakeholders that updated export certification for Australian milk and milk products for human consumption to French Polynesia will be available in the Next Export Documentation System (NEXDOC) from 30 September 2026. Summary The department has negotiated an updated endorsement for the export of milk and milk products for human consumption to French Polynesia. The updated endorsement meets French Polynesian import requirements and will be available in NEXDOC from 30 September 2026. From 30 September 2026, exporters of dairy products to French Polynesia must use endorsement number 303. The endorsement will automatically populate on export certification in NEXDOC. Former endorsements will no longer be used. The updated endorsement applies to all dairy products, including ultra heat treated (UHT) cream and milk products. Endorsement 303 states:
The dairy products described above have been sourced from animals in a zone free from foot and mouth disease and peste des petits ruminants. Animals from which these products were taken were clinically free from foot and mouth disease, peste des petits ruminants, vesicular stomatitis and anthrax. These products described above have been subjected to either: - Pasteurisation and then chilled promptly.
- Or a combination of control measures with equivalent performance as described in the Codex Alimentarius Code of Hygienic Practice for Milk and Milk Products,
- Or any other treatment providing an equivalent or greater lethal effect on bacteria as would normally be achieved through pasteurisation.
Micor The Manual of Importing Country Requirements (Micor) will be updated to reflect this market access advice. The department encourages users of Micor to subscribe to the Micor update service for a commodity-specific email that lists changes that have been made the preceding week.
