Who does this notice affect?

All importers and customs brokers who have lodged imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment.

Detail:

As of approximately 09:12am Wednesday 04 November 2026 (AEDT) there was an unplanned service disruption which impacted lodgements submitted via the Cargo Online Lodgement System (COLS) and Cargo Online Lodgement System Business-To-Government (COLSB2G).

As a result, importers and customs brokers who lodged imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment via these systems may experience some delays in receiving responses/outcomes from the department.

This issue has now been resolved, and services are now operating as per normal.
