Exporters
APSA is the designated peak shipper body granted status by the Federal Minister for Infrastructure and Transport under Part X of the Consumer & Competition Act to represent the interests of Australian exporters generally in relation to outwards liner cargo shipping services.

- Reforming stevedore charges and Empty Container Park (ECP) fees, following recent engagement with state and federal authorities to improve transparency, consistency, and accountability.
- Advocating broader regulatory reforms, including repeal of Part X, a mandatory port fee code, and ongoing border and biosecurity improvements.
